Location / Map

The Island Koh Sukorn is located in the deep south of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. The distance to Malaysia is about 70km.

The house of my guest family was in the south part of the island. The linear distance to the sea is approximately 200m.

Impressions of Bangkok

Just a normal traffic cross in Bangkok ^^

A guy's sleeping on his motorbike on a huge and loud market

Thai people love Muay Thai - they watch it even when they are driving

Stuck in traffic on a four lane highway because my taxi was broken

Home of DaLaa

The headquarter of DaLaa is located in the South of Thailand close to the city Hat Yai (province Songhkla)

Here I'm on the long tail boat which brought me to the island (view to main land)

The entrance gate to the island (of course with a picture of the king)

A statue from the kind in front of the parish hall

Also on a muslim island will you find a shop which sells you some cool beer :D

All the lovely people I've met

First meal after my inland flight to Hat Yai. Together with the camp-coordinator Pi Mooi, her boxfriend Pi Booi and another friend of her

My wonderful host-mam Ta Iao an me on the backseat of a motorbike - and yeah, i know that i look stupid ;-)

Pi Booi, Bung Mat and me together on a motorbike - a lot of fun :)

The brother of my host-mam who was joking about that the Papaya is even bigger than his head :)

Bung Ong - he's the guy who took me to Tarutao National Park for two days (further down you'll see some pictures of the National Park)

Volleyball-Time

Every evening we played volleyball. It was a lot of fun until I've smashed my foot - but without this accident i wouldn't had the possibility to take photos of the scenery ;)
(Playing games like that is a great opportunity to learn counting)

My best friend Bung Yom who's preparing our dinner, that we've caught together, and yeah - it doesn't look like but it is very tasteful!

My wonderful friend Bung Mat who always took some time to escort me if I needed something from the main land (or had to visit the hospital once again ^^)
